We are currently working with an expanding company located in the North East, in the Industrial Machinery and equipment industry that is seeking a qualified Regional Sales Manager.

Job Description:

• Main point of contact and communication for the customer.

• Involvement in projects from start to finish.

• Coordinate meetings and travel to customers' facilities.

• Maintaining contacts’ information and understanding customers’ company structures.

• Hunting for leads and opportunities, Business Development.

• Understanding of activity in the respective territory.

• Request/initiate quotes and send quotes to customers. Follow up on quotes sent.

• Networking with suppliers and the industry in general.

• Give presentations to the customers.

Qualifications:

• This role is for paper-converting equipment, so we would prefer to have someone who comes from the industry and is familiar with paper-converting customers. Maybe someone who has worked as a sub-supplier in this industry.

• An Engineering or technical degree would be ideal but would be ok with someone who has a business degree as well.

• Expectation would be to travel to customers' facilities. 70% travel 30% home office. The person can live anywhere in the US.

• Preference would be someone who has 5 years of experience in sales and has traveled in the past as well.

This is a remote position.

The salary is $130-140k DOE; a year-end bonus could be 10 20 20%.
